- Prior to entering into a purchase agreement, Unique Builders meets with the potential Owner(s) to discuss their specific needs and requirements. Sketches and notes are then provided to the architect for a design layout within the unit selected.
- The design layout is reviewed with the Owners. They may meet with the architect and Unique Builders to discuss any concerns or special requirements.
- After the preliminary layout is approved, contract documents are created containing description of the up-fit finishes, details, and allowances for Owner’s selections.
- We understand that some owners may prefer the builder to recommend finishes such as lighting fixtures, flooring and paint colors and we are happy to assist. Our approach is to let the Owners have as much input for their interior finishes and “look” as they desire.
- The necessary design drawings are created and submitted to the County for code review and approval. Upon receipt of county approvals, Unique Builders (General Contractor) beings up-fit construction.
- Monthly status reports are provided to the Owner. The same reports update the lending institution in order to issue monthly construction draws.
- During the construction phase, Unique Builders coordinates scheduling and installation of Owner provided systems and specialty items.
- Unique Builders coordinates with the Owners regarding any upgrade or change requirements that become apparent during construction. Our goal is to make your construction project a smooth and enjoyable experience.
